You probably haven't gotten responses because it's not clear what body style and vehicle size you'd prefer. Sedan or crossover? Compact, midsize, or larger?
Also, how long do you expect to keep the car? Just a few years? A decade or more?
Front seat comfort is one area where you really must check out the cars yourself, as impressions of the same seat vary, in part based on the size and shape of the driver.
Among compact cars, the Buick Verano could be a good fit. Very smooth, quiet, and comfortable for a car its size. This model has been discontinued, and you can buy a new or nearly new one for well below your limit.
Continuing with compact cars, the 2017 Honda Civic might work. Reliability has been spotty with the 2016, but Honda usually has the glitches sorted out for the second model year. Some people find the seats comfortable, others do not. Ride smoothness and quietness are good but not great.
Switching to crossovers, the Buick Encore has been very reliable, and is smooth, quiet, and comfortable compared to other small crossovers, but it could be too small for what you're looking for.
Mazda has a number of models that might work for you: Mazda3 compact, Mazda6 midsize, and CX-5 crossover. Ride smoothness and quietness are not the best, but these cars tend to be very reliable and they are enjoyable to drive.
