College Car

I'm looking for a stylish, yet affordable first self-bought car. Will be using it mostly for commutes to college/work and running errands. It would be great for it to be semi-luxurious like a relatively old BMW (02-04) or something like that, but will also take a more recent Corolla or Accord or something of that nature. I've looked at a 2014 Toyota Corolla, 2008 BMW 328i, and a 2013 Honda Accord and I liked the exterior and features of them all. I'm a music guy, so I'd prefer a bluetooth or usb connectivity and leather seats would be great. Thanks in advance!

I would look at any of the vehicles in the Subaru lineup that meet your budget. The Subaru's are reliable, safe, and comfortable.

BMW tend not to be reliable or durable, often with expesnive repairs. If you want a premium brand lookat Acura or Infinity insted.

Compact & Midsize sedan's are unpopular at the moment so that is a good place to look. A 3 year old Chevy Cruze can be had under $12,000 and are much nicer than a 3 year old corolla.

A (last generation) Chrysler 200 are actually really nice cars. THe model didn't sell well and has just been discontinued by see it they are down to your price point yet.

Finally look at a dead brand - Suzuki Kizashi were well rated but came out just as the brand exited - not sure about reliability or getting part for these.

Stereo's can always be updraged if the base system doesn't meet your desire

Maybe look at the IS350 from Lexus....some luxuary and very reliable cars.
