Comfort for Family

The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

Member6384

Hello

We will move to Toronto this summer, I'm looking for a family car under C$ 15,000
There are some points that's important to us:

  • Fuel economy (maximum 10-12 liters per 100 KM)
  • Comfort seats, specially confort rear seats with enough room for 4-5 people with maximum height of 175cm (about 5 feets and 10 inches)
  • Good Interior & Exterior Design
and it's better to have (not necessarily) some equipments like:
  • Power Seats
  • Electrical Dual Climate Control
  • Good and high quality audio system
  • Leather seats
  • Xenon lights
New and Used car are both good for us, but we prefer used car with no accident, clean carproof, low mileage (maximum 80,000 KM) and made 2008 or newer.

Thanks

Omid

Do you think your driving will be mostly urban, suburban, or highway?

For maximum mpg and a decent rear seat, there's the Toyota Prius.

For a larger rear seat, maybe the Toyota Camry Hybrid or Ford Fusion Hybrid.

I checked autotrader.ca to make sure cars were available within your parameters.

Crossovers have only recently become capable of better than 10/100km in real-world driving, so these (such as the Mazda CX-5) are probably too new to fall within your budget.

One hatchback that could be a good fit is the Hyundai Elantra Touring, but it's fuel economy won't come close to that of the suggested hybrids. Perhaps around 10 liters / 100 km. But it has a very roomy rear seat for a compact hatch.
