Reliable Sporty Sedan

The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

Member6181

I am looking for a sporty sedan that does have a history of being reliable. I would also consider less sporty sedans as long as they had decent performance.
A few cars that come to mind are the Acura TL, Acura TSX, Cadillac ATS 2.0, and even the Toyota Camary SE (V6) or the Kia Optima SX.

Need minimum of 4 seats

Will consider both new and used cars
Maximum mileage: 35000
Maximum age: 3 years

Maximum price: US $ 30000

The ATS has excellent handling, but is too new to have much of a record.

The Camry and Optima are quick, but don't handle all that well and aren't especially fun to drive. Among midsize sedans, my pick would probably be the 2014+ Mazda6. After that, the Ford Fusion, with the 2011-2012 probably the most reliable.

But my personal preference tends to be for something smaller. The Acura TSX handles nicely with the four, not so well with the V6. An Infiniti G37 could also be a good way to go. The last time I checked nearly new ones were surprisingly affordable.

I almost forgot about the Infiniti. I am guessing since the Q50 has arrived, the G37 can be affordable as you mentioned.
The Mazda 6 has all the right tools but might be lacking a little in the power department. I might be a little spoiled since I drive an 04 GTO.

Hmmm, a torque junkie. The G37 might be the best bet in the bunch, then.

An Acura TL SH-AWD can also be fun, though I didn't care for the way they lightened the steering with the 2012.

Or just find another $10,000 and get a 2011 CTS-V :)
