easy of getting in and out and gas economy

The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

allankmaccormack

We bought a 2013 KIA Sorento(V6) new in 2013. Nice SUV but we no longer need 4 wheel drive or a 6 cylinder. It
doesn't get stellar gas milage. Looking for something that is easy for me to slide in and out of, enough room for
a six foot , 230lb guy. I have been looking at articles regarding vehicles that are good for tall or big people.
If I stay with KIA, i will look at the Sportage of the KIA Optima 4 door.
I was wondering about the Mazda CX-5, Honda CRV or Honda Accord. The thing is I don't want a car that is too low
for me to get in andout of. The Sorento was just a bit too high. I did have a Saturn VUE (V6) and it also was hard on
gas.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Allan

It sounds like a small SUV might fit your needs.

Honda HRV, Mazda CX-3, Buick Encore, etc. Unless those feel too small for your tastes, but they'll get excellent gas mileage compared to the larger SUVs

Among Kias, you might also want to check out the Soul.

Is most of your driving in-town or highway? If it's in-town, the Ford C-MAX hybrid could be a good fit, and lately they're heavily discounted.

I would definitely check out the Prius V. It gets amazing mpgs, is super practical and is one of the easiest to get into and out of..

I would consider a RAV4 hybrid. It gets great fuel economy and is easy to get in and out of. The XLE hybrid starts at 28k and is well equipped.

The 2017 Buick Encore at $16,XXX is half your budget, has a nice mid size height seat and with the 1.4T our old 2013 Encore would see 39 mpg at 60 mph highway driving...with AWD. With just 2wd your economy should improve.

The Buick is not an economy cuv like ctv cx5 or rav4. It has Active Noise Cancelation for the quietest ride in the segment.

Even more premium than Lexus RX and NX200T is the 2016 Buick Envision Premium l used for $29,xxx.
