A Mazda5 would fit into this category. Should be reliable and get good fuel economy. Has enough seating for a family and their things. Reserve power is a little low but should fit the bill nicely as a family hauler. A used Ford Fusion would also fit this description.

Two good suggestions. Older Mazda5's often have suspension problems, but a fairly recent one should fit within your budget.

The Chevrolet Malibu, Honda Accord, Mazda6, or Toyota Camry could also be good. It depends on your tastes and other priorities.
