quick acceleration, fuel economy, stick, easy to work on, longer life span, safe, cheap insurance

Hi guys,
I think I am greedy. Just got my first car a few months ago. Didn't like it but bought it long story short. however, I planed to keep this car for a few years from now. myabe 2 or 3. And I am looking for a new future car. yes, i know i am unpratical. Currently have 05 elantra with stick 5 speed. avg 28 mpg. 4 doors. I want my future car to have quick acceleration, dont need 6 cylinder. prefer 2.x Liter, but 2.0 is too small for me. Must be stick and 6 speeds. I usually run out of gear with this car. no need to be funcy or have plenty of feature. i will never use them. No turbo. since it would be 2.x L fuel economy will be ok. i dont mind putting premium in my car. will only buy Honda, Toyota, or Huyndai. Acura is ok but repair is too expensive at shop. other brand will consider if you can pursuade me well ;). Front wheel drive only. price cannot be negotiaited since it will be my future car but will pay up to 14000. I mean gently used car :). I will spend 1000 for a year of its life span. for example, if i pay 10000 for a car, that car must last 10 years with regular maintaince. must be easy to work on. example, my friend has a 2000 acoord and he has to change fuel tank. so i look at it and find out that i have to drop the whole rear axle to replace fuel thank. when i look at mine, i only have to remove 2 straps and some other nuts. you sse what i mean? i dont want to waste my time turning the nuts all day. of course, if necessary, I will do it. 4 doors or 5 doors only. high level safety feature means less insurance cost. low rpm with high torque and small red line. Is this even possible? for example I prefer accord sport than elantra sport. Currently i have in mind is 2013 and earlier 2.4 L accord, but they are expensive. 2012 sonota GLS and optima LX will be great, but optima's tachometer is ugly. i dont like its interior design especially those meter. yes, i look at them when i drive and i shift at certain rpm, precisly. I used to consider 2015 and older ILX but they are luxury . not my type. i like 2006 Corola XRS and future civic type r. no civic si. suggestion will be highly appreciated and your knowledge will expand mine. thank in advance :)

Once they're in your price range, a 2014 Mazda6. Should be less expensive than an Accord.

A Mazda3 with the 2.5 is even more fun to drive, but probably more expensive to insure (check) and you have to get a higher trim to get the 2.5, so probably more expensive than a base Mazda6 of the same age.

You run out of gear? This discombobulated post is amazing. Get a civic si or something, and don't look at your tach when you're shifting.

You get me on this one. I thought about Madza, too but they are prone to rust. that's why. Maybe I should put them back in my wish list. If i buy Madza, I would go for madza 3 instead of 5. 3 is smller so more zippy than 5 becasue of the low weight to the same engine. thank for the reponse :)

Mazda claimed to have made changes to improve rust prevention around 2009, and the last time I checked we had no reports of rust for 2009 and newer Mazda3s. Still a bit early to be sure, as they used to start around their sixth birthday.

The Buick Verano will be the quietest car in the sub compact class. And at $14,000 the turbo-4 2.0T can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Regal can also be found with 250 horsepower 2.0T and 6-speed manual.
