You might feel most at home in a newer Civic, though they don't depreciate quickly so you'll pay less for other brands.

The Scion tC might be a good fit if you really don't need four doors. A Mazda3 is offered as a sedan and hatch, and is fun to drive, but the styling and interior aren't to everyone's taste.

If you really want to spend less money, the 2008-2011 Ford Focus can be a good budget buy.

With any of these it's probably a good idea to check rates with your insurance company before buying.
