I am looking at new 2013 G37 sedans with automatic. Good discounts now and maybe getting better.

This might be the car for you.

Search for 'G37' in Consumer Reports online.

Good hunting.

You're in Australia? If so, I hope some of our other members down there will see this and chime in.

I'm thoroughly unfamiliar with the Ford Falcon, as we get nothing like it here.

But we have the Holden Commodore in Pontiac form in our survey, and it has been holding up well. Could one of those work for you?

The Hyundai Genesis is a very good value as a used luxury sedan in the U.S. Maybe there as well? Some of the electronics have been fussy. If you get one without the Tech Package (power steering column, nav) the problems are largely avoided.

The Aurion is the top-of-the-line Toyota down there. Good for reliability, and likely quiet. Any thoughts on those? Fit within your budget? For a sense of reliability, check our stats on the Camry.
