For this amount of money you can get a nearly new and possibly even a new Hyundai Genesis (Genesis G80 for 2017). An excellent luxury sedan for what it costs. Reliability has been decent for the 2015. None of the 13 owners of a 2016 has reported a repair, so it looks very good so far.

The problem with 6 passenger seats is you need a 3-row crossover and they tend to not be that luxurious. If you could get by with 5 sests the Buick Envision Premium is in the $29O range and quieter than a 2016 Lexus RX according to Car & Driver testing of the two cars. Of course 5 seats opens up sedans too which might be a better deal as suv sales continue to rise.
