Thos are all good choices, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

Two others that are worth your consideration are the Acura RDX and MDX. Both offer better value than you'll get from the Europeans, and they're also likely to be more reliable in the long run. Both also offer very comfortable seating in all positions, and the MDX handles surprisingly well for its size due to its "Super-Handling All Wheel Drive". This was one of the first torque-vectoring AWD systems to hit the market, introduced a decade ago.

The tradeoff is that they're not quite as refined as the Europeans, but for daily driving and road trips, they're plenty refined enough, IMO.

I would suggest a used Lexus RX350. Certified from a Lexus dealer or from a private seller. Would suggest getting a prepurchase inspection done on the one you like. I really this suv for the smooth ride, reliability and economical to run. Cheaper to run than German. It rides smoother than the Acura RDX. Gas mileage is reasonable and Lexus service is exceptional.

It comes with a reasonable size spare tire(mine is a 2011). BMW X1 had run flat tires. BMW may be more fun to drive but the RX350 feels so solid. Enjoy your search!

There were $10,000 discounts on new 2017 Buick Envsions when we were shopping them. You'll get the luxury and quiet ride of a premium German brand but at a nicely discounted price of $25-26K dollars.
