truck used for transporting family and hauling a 23ft travel trailer

The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

We need a new truck our dodge has engine troubles and I don't know if they are worth fixing. We are thinking about trading it in but we need something that can be a daily commuting truck as well as something to haul our 23ft travel trailer occationally.

We will have to buy used because we are trying to keep our payments lower. We have looked around town and so far found a 2010Tundra and a 2011F250 superduty diesel that are close to our price range.

Any advise or any other trucks we should be looking into or staying away from?

Need minimum of 5 seats

Will consider both new and used cars
Maximum mileage: 60000

Maximum price: US $ 25000

In general recent pickups seem reliable in our survey. I'd drive them all and see which one you like the best. The F250 could be overkill for your needs--that's a lot of truck.

Agreed. I would shop Ford, Ram/Dodge, and Chevrolet/GMC in particular and see which you like best. All three packages have their pluses and minuses for style and drive. The Ford has had integrated trailer braking for the longest as a factory standard. The GM product is a little more dated than the others, as it went the longest without a redesign.
