4-door Pickup with the best combination of quiet cabin, smooth ride, handling, power and towing.

The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

fredjeep

We are looking for our long-trip vehicle. It will need to someday tow out camper, Jeep and boat. My wife's priority are quiet and smooth, mine is power, drivability and reliability. MPG is not a priority as we have a Mazda3 for that kind of driving, but it will be factored in. We are looking for SUV roominess with a pickup bed.

Priorities: Ride smoothness / Quietness / Reliability & durability

Need minimum of 5 seats

Will consider new cars only

Maximum price: US $ 50000

Look at the Honda Ridgeline. It's by far the most refined truck you can buy. It rides on a unibody platform, so it acts more like an SUV but it still has a bed. It has a 5000 lbs tow rating. If that can't tow your things (it probably can't), look at the Toyota Tundra. Those are the only trucks that have good reliability. If you don't like those, I'd suggest an F-150 and then the Silverado, but not the Ram 1500. That truck has too many problems.
