Hi guys,

I looking for a reliable hatch back car. What I am considering is Lexus CT200H.

I don't mind the performance. I appreciate good MPG & design and neatly finished interior.

Is CT reliable? That is the question I have. or would you recommend another?
Thanks.

Preferred Bodystyle(s): Coupe / Sedan

Car Needs: Daily commuter / Long trips

Need minimum of 4 seats

Will consider new cars only

Maximum price: US $ 42000

The small amount of reliability data we have for the Lexus CT suggests that it is very reliable.

We have a ton of reliability data for the related Toyota Prius, and it has been among the most reliable models in our survey.

I would not be concerned about reliability with the CT.

A few other suggestions are the current Mazda 3, CX3, Ford Focus, Focus ST, Volvo C30 and Volvo V60. These are all sporty vehicles with nice interiors, good reliability, and we'll within the price range you mentioned.

I have one, a 2012, and cannot go wrong. Under the hood is more or less a prius, and reliability is through the roof good for that car (there are some prius cabs in NYC with 500k miles on them). The build is strong, the features are super nice (at night if I walk to my car the lights turn onbefore I even touch it).
