The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

Member6393

Need bright headlights at night;
Enough room for kids cars seats in 2nd row without kids kicking me in the back (BMW X3 is too smal in the 2nd row);
Quick/fun to drive (close to as much fun as my 2007 BMW X3 si);
After warranty repair cost must be lower than a BMW;
At least as much cargo capacity in the trunk with the seats up as my BMW X3 (preferably more);
Towing capacity is a bonus but not required;
Comfortable front seats (especially the driver seat - more so than my BMW X3) - preferably seat depth adjustment;
AWD (all wheel drive);
Tech gadgets (nav, bluetooth, usb, etc);
Parking sensors in the front/back would be nice/preferrred (or something equivalent);
Large sun/moon roof;
Great sounding radio;
Memory drivers seat;
Not a mini van;

The new BMW X3 has a much roomier rear seat than your X3. But it won't be more reliable than a BMW out of warranty.

Neither the Murano nor the Highlander is fun to drive. The Acura sort of is. It's probably the best fit.

I haven't driven the new Ford Edge Sport yet. It might deliver what you're looking for. I did recently post a review comparing the new Murano with the non-Sport Edge.

Maybe also check out the Dodge Durango, though it's probably larger than you need and doesn't offer a panoramic sunroof. A lot of room and drives surprisingly well.
