Car comfortable for a big guy; good fuel economy; moderate luxury; reliable; acceptable power

The Right Car for Me | TrueDelta

Member6209

I'm looking for a sedan with fuel economy around 28mpg combined. The biggest requirement is ease of ingress/egress. This car is for a bigger guy with back problems. I'd like to have the option to have some luxuries like leather, heated seats, navigation, automatic climate control, etc. The car must be reliable as it will be a long term purchase. Style is somewhat important as I do not want a bland looking car. The car has to be automatic as well.

I havent looked at any cars yet so all suggestions are a positive.

Priorities: Price or payments / Front seat room / Materials & workmanship / Exterior styling / Interior styling

Preferred Bodystyle(s): Sedan

Car Needs: Daily commuter / Family transporter / Errands about town / Long trips

Primary Driver(s): Tall driver

Need minimum of 4 seats

Will consider both new and used cars
Maximum mileage: 35000
Maximum age: 3 years

Maximum price: US $ 18500

The above suggestions are good ones.

For roominess and long-term reliability, a four-cylinder Honda Accord is probably your best bet. But I'm not sure a 2013 will be available in your price range. An older Accord won't be as efficient.

The Toyota Camry isn't styled as nicely or as efficient (except in hybrid form), but might be the most reliable midsize sedan.

With the Ford Fusion, I'd look for a 2011-2012, as these are probably the most reliable model years. The 2010s have had some transmission issues. Styling and fuel economy aren't as good as a current Fusion's or Accord's, but you'll pay a lot less.
