A milestone: the 100th 2007 Nissan Versa joins the panel

When TrueDelta.com started collecting vehicle reliability information, plenty of people asserted that it would never succeed. These doubters said there’s a reason car buyers have only one flawed source of such information: it’s far too difficult to gather a sufficient number of participants.

Actually, all it takes is an active, enthusiastic forum. NICOClub.com, the Internet’s most vibrant Nissan and Infiniti forum, saw the value in TrueDelta’s research, and stepped forward to help make it happen.

Nissan sells about 5,000 Versas a month. So the line’s smallest car sells well, but it’s far from the nation’s top seller. Toyota sells about seven times as many Camrys.

And yet, with NICOClub’s help, this week the 100th Versa owner signed up to participate in TrueDelta’s research, making it the first 2007 model to reach this milestone.

Proof that, when two organizations focused on the needs of vehicle owners work together to leverage the potential in the Internet, things that are supposedly not possible can be done.

Thanks, NICOClub.
